     This performance is a beautiful musical inspired by an old fairy tale from Ukraine. Ivasyk is a child borne from a piece of  wood taken from the forest. His parents are two old peasants that never had children, even if they would have loved to. Ivasyk is a kind of Tom Pouce and Pinocchio, because he comes alive from a piece of wood. Ivasyk proves his courage and cleverness in a journey through the forest, by the time the winter is finishing and spring is ready to come. Like in any other story, this one also has a happy ending. The performance was imagined by showing in scene both the puppets and the puppeteers. This show wants to deliberately bring back to life ancient stories and ukrainian folklore.
