THE BUMBLE BEE
after Grigore Vieru


          The show is inpired by the homonym book of the poet Grigore Vieru, in vers and images for children. The adaptation for stage imagined a musical show, interractive, in which children are invited to travel through theatre in the magical world of letters and numbers, to recite poetry, riddles, proverbs. The artistic director Ion Ciubotaru says about his show that “this is not only a lesson of reading and math, but a lesson on life, love of what is beautiful – language, mother, family, nature, country – it is an invitation to discover the beauty of the small things that surround us”.
